The first round of the Competition of Student Research Papers

The 1st round of the Competition of Student Research Papers in the specialty “Primary Education” was held.

On January 16, 2024,  at the Department of Primary Education, the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, the defense of student research papers in the specialty “Primary Education” took place within the framework of the 1st round of the All-Ukrainian Competition.

The defense began with words of welcome from the Deputy Director for Scientific Work, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Vitalina Kyzylova, and the head of the competition commission, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Maria Pochinkova spoke about the traditions of holding such a competition in universities of Ukraine and noted that such events allow identifying and developing talents of young researchers and advance Ukrainian science.

According to the reviews, feedback from academic supervisors and assessment of participants’ reports, the competition commission determined the winners.

The first place was taken by O. Hanuskova,
2nd place – O. Lyakh and Yu. Yerchenko,
3rd place – S. Ivankova and O. Sannikova.
Contestants demonstrated their knowledge and skills in research activities, aimed at the formation of professional skills. The topics chosen for scientific research are relevant in the context of the development of the New Ukrainian School and educational activities in wartime conditions. The competition contributed to the development of gifted students, the realization of their abilities, and served as an incentive for creative self-improvement of student youth.

The Competition of Student Research Papers was held in the format of a video conference.
