From January 4, a personal exhibition “Fairytale World” by Nadiia Lukafeinyk, a teacher of the Design Department, was held at the V. G. Korolenko Literary and Memorial Museum of Poltava. The exposition included works made in various techniques: watercolor, graphics, etc. A significant part of the finishing touches was made in the technique of the author’s painting. The exposition includes 31 exhibits, mostly completed in 2023. The central work of the exhibition was the author’s painting “Our Thought, Our Song”.
At the opening of the exhibition, Nadiia Olkhovska, a leading researcher of the V.G. Korolenko Literary and Memorial Museum of Poltava, gave a welcome speech, sharing interesting facts from the life of the famous figure. It was symbolic that live music was played by Kateryna Tsymbaliuk, a 2nd-year student of the ER IA, EP “Musical Art (Secondary Art)”.
Among the guests of the exhibition were teachers and students of the Institute of Arts, colleagues of Nadiia Lukafeinyk, people interested in art.
A bright note of the opening was the creation of a joint picture by the visitors of the exhibition with the participation of the famous contemporary artist Andrii Gordienko. The guests were able to join the art and create an interesting abstract canvas, feeling themselves in the role of real artists.
The event ended with a small tour of the literary and memorial museum.
Congratulations to Nadiia Lukafeinyk! We wish her to develop creative potential and inspire our students with her own example!
