Participation in the Algebraic Conference “At the End of the Year 2023”

Mathematicians of our university took part in the Algebraic Conference “At the End of the Year 2023”.

From December 26 to 27, 2023, the annual International Algebraic Conference “At the End of the Year” was held at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University with the support of the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In this conference, algebraists usually present their main scientific achievements for the current year.

This year, the international scientific committee of the conference included mathematicians from various countries, in particular, Poland, Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, Brazil, China, and the USA. Experienced scientists from many countries of the world took part in the conference. Our university was represented by doctors of physical and mathematical sciences, professors Anatolii Zhuchk and Yurii Zhuchk; candidates of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professors Yulia Zhuchok and Olena Toichkina, and postgraduate students majoring in “111 Mathematics” Yana Tsis, Oleksandra Sporikhina and Violetta Hurchonok.

Anatolii Zhuchok, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, presented his scientific report on the current topic of modern algebra. This year, the pre-New Year’s conference became a workplace for sharing experiences and an interesting discussion of scientific problems.
