On December 19, 2023, the Academic Council of the Educational and Research Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences. 

Anton Bader, director of the Academic Council of the Educational and Research Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, opened the meeting of the Academic Council, which took place on December 19, 2023. The agenda included important issues related to the development and activity of the Institute:

• Election of the members of the Academic Council: participants of the meeting considered the issue of the formation of the members of the Academic Council and the selection of representatives who will take part in important decisions regarding the development of the Institute. A new composition of the Council was elected, which will actively promote scientific and educational progress.
• Status and prospects of publications in scientific journals: the situation with publications of teachers in scientometrically recognized journals, such as Scopus and Web of Science, was discussed. The prospects of increasing the rating of the Institute due to the active participation of teachers in world scientific publications were considered. Strategic steps are being taken to support the scientific activity of teachers.
• Preparation for the defense of master’s theses: the state of preparation for the defense of qualification theses of master’s students was highlighted.
• Compliance with anti-corruption legislation: the Academic Council expressed support for compliance with the laws of Ukraine “On prevention of corruption” and “On the principles of state anti-corruption policy in Ukraine”. Special attention was paid to the anti-corruption aspect during the final certification of graduates of the second (master’s) level of higher education in the 2nd year of study. It is noted that the university carefully implements anti-corruption legislation and implements effective mechanisms for its implementation.
• Miscellaneous: in addition, various issues related to the general functioning of the Institute and its activity in the field of science and education were highlighted.
  The Academic Council continues its work on important issues for the further development and improvement of the educational process and scientific activity at the institute.
