Measures to promote reading

Teachers of the Primary Education Department actively conduct various activities to popularize reading among children and adults.

This year, in addition to the traditionally planned events with students of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, an online meeting was held with students and representatives of the teaching staff of the Yaroslav the Wise Ukrainian School (Brussels), which takes care not only of the students’ mastery of the program material, but also and about comprehensive development of children, formation of their personality and civic position.

The event took place in one of the libraries of Brussels, in the Jette community. Today, this library has a collection of Ukrainian books and cooperates with the Ukrainian community and volunteers on its expansion and popularization.
