Pre-defense of master’s theses in mathematics

On December 11, the pre-defense of master’s theses in mathematics was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies.

On December 11, at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics of the Educational and Research Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies, a preliminary defense of the qualification papers of master’s students majoring in 014 Secondary Education (Mathematics) and 111 Mathematics was held, with the aim of checking the quality of the works of master’s students and approving the results their works.

Among the teachers there were scientists of the algebraic research group, professors, doctors of physical and mathematical sciences Anatolii Zhuchok and Yurii Zhuchok, associate professors, candidates of physical and mathematical sciences Yulia Zhuchok and Olena Toichkina, as well as candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor, honorary professor of the university Valerii Khmel. Master’s students presented their reports and received various corrections from the teachers of the Department.

As a result of the discussion of the reports, the state of the qualification works was analyzed and general recommendations were given for their further improvement. The relevance and practical significance of the master’s students’ research, as well as the thoroughness of the preparation of presentations, were noted.

The presented results of the master’s theses received favorable reviews and were recognized as such that they can be recommended for defense.
