All-Ukrainian Round Table

An All-Ukrainian Round Table was held within the framework of the All-Ukrainian mental health program “How are you?”
On December 12, 2023, with the participation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the initiative of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, an All-Ukrainian round table was held within the framework of the All-Ukrainian mental health program “How are you” on the topic “MENTAL HEALTH: TODAY’S CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS”.
Co-organizers of the event were: State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” (Department of Special Education of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology); KZVO “Vinnytsia Academy of Continuing Education”; Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University; Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical Institute; Kharkiv National Medical University.
MAIN DIRECTIONS OF WORK OF THE ROUND TABLE:
- Preservation of mental health, psychosocial support and psychological and pedagogical support within the educational space.
- Raising the awareness of participants in the educational process regarding the assessment of their own psycho-emotional state, potential risks for mental health, and effective methods of solving them.
- Mental health in the context of psychological and physical rehabilitation.
- Techniques of self-help and support of others, based on evidence-based methods of caring for mental and physical health.
- Training of specialists in the field of education with basic skills of psychological first aid in the field of mental health.
The Acting Head of the Department of Special Education, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor I.O. Grigorieva gave a welcome speech as a member of the organizing committee. As part of the work of the round table, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor A.Yu. Mukhina listened to a report on the topic: “Psychological help with emotional burnout of parents who have children with special educational needs.”
