National Reading Week at the Department of Romance & Germanic Philology

A national reading week was held at the Department of Romance & Germanic Philology.

“A nation that reads is INVINCIBLE!” – under this slogan, the national reading week was held at the Department of Romance & Germanic Philology. In the period from 04.12.2023 to 10.12.2023, teachers and students of the Department of Romance & Germanic Philology gladly joined the All-Ukrainian campaign on reading.

Reading is essential in times of peace and prosperity but even more crucial in times of trials that have befallen us through war. Books can become our protection, weapons, friends and advisers, teachers and doctors. With the help of the Campaign, we want to draw attention to the importance and pleasure of reading, to inspire Ukrainians to visit a library or bookstore.
