Participation in the International Winter School

Teachers of the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business took part in the International Winter School.
From December 5 to 7, 2023, the Jean Monet International Winter School was successfully held on the basis of the National University of Food Technologies. The theme of this year’s event is “Academic Project Management and Effective Communication.” Teachers of the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business had the honor to be part of this significant event, which gathered more than 250 participants from different parts of Ukraine.
The purpose of the event was to get acquainted with modern European approaches to effective management and communication, as well as to establish new partnerships for long-term and fruitful cooperation.
The Professor Ihor Yakymenko, a representative of the Department of Environmental Safety and Occupational Health, shared his many years of successful experience of participating in academic projects of the Erasmus+ program. His experience deserves special attention and gratitude.
The speeches of colleagues from foreign universities and companies aroused considerable interest. Veronika Aleksanych, coordinator of exchange programs for scholars of the Fulbright Program in Ukraine, presented the Fulbright academic exchange program of the US government in Ukraine. Dr. Serhii Kyrylenko from the Medical Institute of Sumy State University shared his experience of receiving and implementing Jean Monet projects. Maria Galaburda, Associate Professor of the Veterinary Hygiene Department of the National University of Bioresources and Nature Management of Ukraine, spoke about the implementation of EU projects in the field of higher education.
This Winter School became an incredible platform for sharing knowledge, experience and best practices in the field of academic management and effective communication. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this event and believe that the acquired knowledge and contacts will be useful in our future work.
