Participation in the All-Ukrainian Conference

Artur Aroian presented the university at the VI readings in memory of Mykola Biliashivskyi.
On December 1, the National Art Museum of Ukraine held a scientific conference “VI Reading of the Memory of Mykola Biliashivskyi. Ukrainian Studio Art Education”.
Participants from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava and Lviv prepared reports on the establishment and development of art studios in Ukraine, as well as in other countries where Ukrainian artists studied. They discussed the impact that this non-academic education had on the development of artistic communities and on the formation of the Ukrainian identity of artists.
Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was represented by Artur Aroian, Associate Professor of the Department of Fine and Decorative Arts of the Educational and Research Institute of Arts, with a report on the formation of art education in Poltava based on the work of artists Hryhorii and Ivan Miasoiedov. Based on the results of the conference, a collection of theses will be published in January.
