“Olympic History of Kyiv: Kyiv and the Olympic Games”

On November 29, students and teachers of the ER IPES had the opportunity to listen to an open guest lecture “Olympic History of Kyiv: Kyiv and the Olympic Games”.

The lecturer Oksana Volodymyrivna Zeleniuk – Candidate of Sciences in Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Education and Health of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, teacher of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports of LTSNU, informed the audience about the Olympics, which took place in Kyiv in 1913, about the composition of the organizing committee of preparation for the 1913 Olympics, the program of the Kyiv Olympics, records and the significance of the Olympics for the development of physical culture and sports in Ukraine.

We thank the lecturer for meaningful, very interesting information on the history of Olympism.
