In November, master’s students majoring in 061 Journalism attended lectures by experts in the media industry.

Khrystyna Chernenko, a representative of the cross-platform media #SHOTAM, told the students about the modern direction in the media industry – constructive journalism using the example of the #SHOTAM media project. Such media provide an opportunity to rethink the established model of journalism, because in general, media content tends to gravitate toward negativity, focusing on problems, scandals, wars, and terrorism. As a result, news consumers began to feel exhausted and tired of negativity in the information space. The audience became more passive, people felt a sense of hopelessness.
