Lecture on academic integrity

On November 29, a lecture on academic integrity was held for students at the Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education.

The leading librarian of LTSNU, the head of the school of academic integrity Oksana Shevchyk introduced the students to the leading provisions of academic integrity.

She characterized the definition of “academic integrity”, considered its main principles and values, discussed with students the importance of observing academic integrity in the educational process. The lecture also discussed the types of violations of academic integrity, the causes of this phenomenon, and strategies for avoiding them.

Special attention was paid to the rules of design of sources in the final list of literature, design of results of own research and rules of compilation of bibliographic articles.

The staff of the Department is grateful to Ms. Oksana for an interesting lecture. We hope that the students will definitely adhere to the rules of academic integrity in their scientific works.
