An online webinar was held on the topic: “Preventing and responding to cases of domestic violence against children during the war.”
On November 29, 2023, as part of the All-Ukrainian campaign “16 days against violence”, students of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, specialty 231 “Social Work” of the educational program “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” took part in the online webinar on the topic: “Preventing and responding to cases of domestic violence against children during the war.”
The purpose of the webinar was to work out the issues of countering and responding to cases of violence against children during the war, with special attention to domestic violence.
During the event, the participants had the opportunity to determine the relevance of domestic violence during the war; carry out identification and self-identification of cases of violence against children, with special attention to domestic violence during the war; and to identify response and referral algorithms for victims of violence.
The webinar was held in a friendly, informal atmosphere, which allowed the students to understand the problem of domestic violence against children even more, to find effective ways to prevent this negative phenomenon of society in order to create a culture of peace and respect for every person.
