The master’s student of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports won a silver award.

Congratulations to Daria Rusanenko, a master’s student of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, with a silver award at the World Powerlifting Championship, which was held in the Lithuanian city of Druskininkai.

Daria Rusanenko, performing in the weight category up to 84 kg, climbed to the second step of the podium of honor of the World Championship. In the squat, the athlete set a world record of 278 kg and accordingly won a small gold award. In the bench press, she conquered 147.5 kg, and in the deadlift, having recorded 215 kg, she won a small silver award in this exercise. The athlete’s total result was 640.5 kg.
