Celebrating Student Day at FFL

November 17 is traditionally celebrated International Student Day.

The Faculty of Foreign Languages actively joined the celebration in a mixed format: offline at the university and online on the Google Meet platform with those who are not in Poltava. The long-awaited meeting was attended by representatives of the Dean’s office, scientific and pedagogical workers of the faculty and students of all courses.

Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Doctor of Philology, Professor Victoria Dmytrenko, Vice Dean in change of Social and Humanitarian Affairs, Lecturer of the Translation Studies Department Olha Korinska and Chairman of Student Self-Government of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Mykhailo Kuznetsov addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.

During the event, students prepared a large number of active and intellectual competitions: Who is from above?, Musical chairs, Truth or Action and others. Several competitions were prepared from the teaching staff for knowledge of the history and structure of departments, faculty and university.

The main part of the event was a sweet gift in the form of a branded cake with the emblem of the faculty, which was solemnly shared and tasted by all those present.

In general, the event was held with a bang! Students, as well as lecturers, were happy to gather in the audience with a large company and have fun together.
