International Student Day at the ERE IEB

Today, November 17, 2023, the directorate, teachers and students of the ER IEB gathered at an online meeting dedicated to the International Students’ Day.

Ukrainian students are forced to celebrate this holiday in war conditions for the second year in a row. Therefore, for them, the relationship with all participants of the educational process and the support of the management and teachers are especially important. This gives them the opportunity to feel part of the big institute family and instills faith in a happy future.

The festive meeting was opened by the director of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Honorary Professor of the University – Valerii Petrovych Khmel. Later, heads of departments and teachers of the institute addressed the students.

Students took an active part in the preparation and holding of the festive meeting. Yelyzaveta Hrytsenko, a 2nd-year student majoring in Management, told about the history of the International Student Day. Viktoria Borysenko, a 1st-year student majoring in Economics, presented how this day is celebrated in other countries of the world. The student director of the institute – Viktoria Kabachenko, a 2nd-year student majoring in “Management”, joined the freshmen in the initiation into students by reading the “Student’s Oath”. Winners greeted each other with humorous poems and sincere wishes.
