Marketing communications and business analytics from a leading expert

On November 16, the Department of Economics, Marketing and Entrepreneurship held a guest lecture with Maryna Bohun on the topic of marketing communications, social entrepreneurship and business analytics.
Maryna has more than 15 years of experience in banking, sales, marketing and communications, long-term experience in entrepreneurial, social and cultural and educational activities. In particular, during the full-scale invasion, Maryna founded the project “Against” aimed at supporting the economic capacity of IDP women from Luhansk region; a participant in the “Leadership Academy for Development” program at Stanford University, headed by the American philosopher, political scientist, political economist Francis Fukuyama; Maryna founded the NGO “Zrostay Foundation”, which provides humanitarian and social support to displaced families and children of Luhansk Region with the support of partners in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and the USA. Also Maryna Bohun is a singer, author of songs, including English-language songs, and actress of the musical “Got to be Free”.
The invitation to the educational process of such a well-known specialist-practitioner is aimed at the practical implementation of the department’s mission approved in 2015 regarding the implementation of a student-centered approach and the training of marketers and economists who are competitive on the regional, national and international labor markets.
Maryna Bohun’s lecture aroused the great interest of students and teachers not only of all departments of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business, but also of other structural subdivisions of LTSNU. Using the example of this cooperation with leading domestic and foreign business formations, the lecturer considered various marketing, economic, managerial and financial aspects of modern entrepreneurship.
The lecture took place in constant two-way communication, accompanied by thorough presentation material, questions and comments of teachers and students. The lecturer’s advice on the formation of professional and leadership skills is also useful. At the request of the students, the possibility of further cooperation of the department with Maryna Bohun will be considered.
