Guest lecture from the Lubny District Police Department

On November 16, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University hosted a guest lecture from the Lubny District Police Department.
The lecture is part of the planned activity in accordance with the letter of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1/16675-23 dated 10.27.23 “On the implementation of the plan of measures for the implementation of the Concept of Combating Terrorism in Ukraine”.
The lecture was conducted by the senior inspector of human resources of the Lubny District Police Department, Major Yurii Mykolayovych Kachura. The participants of the online meeting were the rectorate, directors, deputies, scientific and pedagogical workers, students of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, the Institute of Physical Education and Sports, Starobilsk, Luhansk, Lysychansk, Brianka colleges.
The lecturer informed the audience about the danger and scale of terrorist threats in Ukraine; entities that directly carry out the fight against terrorism within the limits of their competence. With great interest, the participants received information about specific actions in certain extreme situations: when a suspicious package, bag, box is detected; during a firefight or explosion; in case of hijacking of a plane (bus); if you became a victim of a telephone terrorist; if you are indoors during a terrorist attack; if taken hostage, etc.
Yurii Mykolayovych emphasized that citizens of Ukraine, on the basis of trust and cooperation, can inform the Security Service of Ukraine about any facts of the arrival and stay of suspicious persons in the region, intentions of carrying out terrorist, subversive or intelligence-subversive activities.
At the end of the online meeting, those present thanked the lecturer for useful practical advice, informativeness and wished good health, unbreakable faith, stability, courage and VICTORY.
