Open lecture on choral singing

The administration of the ER ICA attended an open lecture of the mixed choir of the institute.

On November 8, an open lecture with practical work on the topic “Theoretical and practical foundations of choral singing” was held by the teacher of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography of the ER ICA Viktoria Yunda.

Viktoria Yunda introduced the audience to the creative path and history of the choir of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts, its achievements and work prospects. The teacher briefly reported on the structure of the vocal apparatus and the difference between solo and choral singing. Emphasized attention on collective work on choral music, choral ensemble, etc.

In the second part of the lecture, practical work was conducted with the above-mentioned complexities in choral works on the example of the works currently being studied by the choir, namely F. Schubert – Kyrie, M. Leontovich – Shchedrik, I. Khonenko – Kheruvimska.
