On October 30, 2023, the Department of Romance &Germanic Philology held a preliminary defense of master’s theses by full-time and part-time students to improve student scientific works and prepare for their defense in a distance format.

Pre-defense of master’s theses is an opportunity to improve your scientific work and an excellent opportunity to understand the mechanism of direct defense.

Acting as the head of the department, Nailia Farytivna Khairulina addressed everyone present with a welcome speech, noted the importance of timely completion of writing master’s theses, wished success and inspiration in completing studies, and called for a discussion format of the meeting.

The moderator of the meeting, Olha Yevhenivna Yunina, defined the organizational issues, announced the rules of the event, and emphasized that the preliminary defense of master’s theses is a critical stage for every applicant: it is essential to hear the opinions of experienced scientists who will make valid comments and direct the improvement of scientific works.

The future graduates of the master’s degree presented their scientific works, which were impressive with their novelty and skillful execution.
