Meeting with Graduate

Institute of Physical Education and Sports has conducted a meeting with its graduate Olha Bryzhina.

Olha is Honoured Master of Sports in athletics, three-time Olympic Champion, head trainer of national athletics team of Ukraine in Luhansk region and vice-president of Ukrainian Athletic Federation.

The meeting took place on March 29. Olha Arkadiivna shared her memories of sports achievements and family traditions: her husband Viktor Bryzhin is Olympic champion as well and her elder daughter Yelyzaveta Bryzhina got the bronze at XXX Olympic Games in London 2012, now she is preparing for XXXI Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Bryzhiny can be proud of their unique achievements – they have 6 Olympic medals including 4 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.

Students were curious about sporting games and interesting moments from sporting life, they were asking some questions. At the end of the event all in attendance thanked Olha Arkadiivna for pleasant meeting and wished success, inspiration, peace and new victories. Institute Director Yurii Mykhailovych Poluliashchenko presented flowers and multi-author monograph “Contemporary Problems of Health, Physical Education and Sports in Modern Society”.
