Training-seminar “Opportunities for Education and Internship Abroad: Grants, Summer Schools and Research Projects” has been conducted at LNU.
Training has been provided by the Center for International and Educative Work of LNU.
“Developing international cooperation of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is one of our priority guidelines. It is aimed at integrating university to the world educational environment, developing cooperation with industry-specific schools and academic institutions of CIS-countries and foreign countries, participating in academic exchange programs and international cultural networking”, – noted I. V. Myhovych.
There is university’s international service to develop international cooperation. Center for International Cooperation and Educative Work is a part of it.
Center focuses on: international contacts search and development necessary for research, practical and educative activity of LNU; developing and supporting programs of research internship for university’s academic staff abroad, data bases of university members who make business trips abroad, international charitable funds and so on.
Center members have told about current programs, summer schools and international scholarships including the following
- Fulbright Graduate Student Program;
- Carnegie research project;
- Scholarship contest for IDP to participate in the European Forum Alpbach 2016;
- Stars at the Start internship program, etc.
Also students have learned how to apply for grant and how to wright motivation letter.
Students have received useful information and become interested in presented programs. We hope that a large part of seminar attendees will be the participants of international programs and summer schools.
