Opening of the memorial plaque

A memorial plaque to Sviatoslav Pashynskyi was unveiled in Poltava city.

On October 19, a memorial plaque was unveiled in memory of Sviatoslav Pashynskyi, a ceramist, sculptor, teacher of the Poltava Children’s Art School, a member of the NSHU, a volunteer, a senior soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who died defending the sovereignty of our state.

The author of the memorial plaque is Inna Gurzhii, a senior teacher of the Department of Fine and Decorative Arts.

The memorial plaque will be located on the facade of the Poltava Children’s Art School, which now bears the hero’s name. It was at this school that Sviatoslav Pashynskyi taught sculpture for many years.

This is the first memorial plaque made of ceramics in Poltava city.
