Participation in the 4th All-Ukrainian Forum of Councils of Young Scientists

The Associate Professor of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational and Social Institutions took part in the 4th All-Ukrainian Forum of Councils of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

On October 19, 2023, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational and Social Institutions Nadiia Vasynova took part in the 4th All-Ukrainian Forum of Councils of Young Scientists on the initiative of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. For the fourth year in a row, the forum is a platform for interesting discussions and new projects.

Features of the Forum were:
– the updated format of the event (panel discussions with the participation of representatives of civil society institutions, as well as international participation, which will allow to communicate and ask questions of foreign partners);
– presentation of reports in the form of posters, which will contribute to highlighting both achievements and problems and opportunities for implementing the developments of young scientists;
– promotion of achievements, as well as informational support, etc.

The focus of the forum was the problem of implementing and scaling up the development of young scientists in interaction with stakeholders at various levels.

The Acting Director General of the Directorate of Science and Innovation Hryhorii Mozolevych, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Vladyslav Yatsuk, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Science and Innovation of the Committee on Education, Science and Innovation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Valerii Kolyukh, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Forest Resources, Animal and Wildlife Facilities plant life, natural landscapes and objects of the nature reserve fund of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on environmental policy and nature management Yulia Ovchinnikova, first deputy executive director for grant support of the National Research Fund Andriy Kuznetsov joined the work.

Olesia Vashchuk, head of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, emphasized the importance of the event in terms of exchange of achievements and continued cooperation between the participants.

As part of the international panel, the issue of cooperation and support for scientific and scientific-technical activities of young scientists in Ukraine was revealed. (Representatives of which were: Eurodoc (Sebastian Dahle), Polish Academy of Sciences Representative Office in Kyiv (Mateusz Bialas), Elsevier (Rachel Herbert), Warsaw School of Economics (Iryna Degtyaryova), Scholar Support Office (Yevheniia Polishchuk), Technical University of Munich (Liudmyla Lisova)).

The holding of the forum contributed to the activation of cooperation between young scientists, representatives of civil society institutions, state authorities, the establishment of relations with the main interested parties and foreign partners, as well as the exchange of achievements in the implementation and promotion of the developments of young scientists, the development of scientific potential, in particular with the involvement of international support, popularization of scientific and scientific and technical activities of young scientists.

According to the results of the Forum, a resolution was approved, which will be sent to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, higher education institutions and scientific institutions.
