This academic year, the “Side by Side” program is being implemented with the support of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

The purpose of this program is to involve children in physical development, forming leadership qualities in them, as well as psycho-emotional support and establishing social contacts.

As part of this program, the educational and cognitive project #OlympicLab “Chat with Champions” was held for students of the Nizhnyduvan Lyceum of the Nizhnyduvan Village Council of the Svativ District of the Luhansk Region.

The main part of the chat consisted of the presentation and communication of students of the Nizhny Duvansk Lyceum with a famous Ukrainian sportswoman, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine in cycling, bronze medalist of the XXVII Summer Olympic Games in 2000 in Sydney, Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work, teacher of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports of the ER IPES Iryna Yanovych and the director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports of LTSNU, Candidate of Pedagogic Sciences, Associate Professor, master of sports of Ukraine of the international class, master of sports of Ukraine in powerlifting, champion of Europe and the world, record holder of Ukraine and the world Oleksandr Dubovoi.

The personal example of prominent sportsmen of Luhansk region clearly demonstrated that desire, perseverance, and conscientious work are the key to a good result.

The event, which helped students to expand their knowledge about sports, the history and the significance of the Olympic Games for the modern world, was held by the Luhansk regional branch of the CFS of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine and the regional branch of the NOC of Ukraine.

The champions of LTSNU wished everyone physical health and beauty, sports and life victories, success in studies and in all achievements!
