Representatives of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​are participants in scientific and practical conferences

In October, applicants of the fourth course of specialties 014.021 Secondary Education. English language and literature. Language and literature (English) and 014.024 Secondary education. Spanish language and literature. Language and literature (Spanish, English) participated in scientific and practical conferences.

Alina Romas presented theses on the topic “Testing as a Method of Controlling Students’ Knowledge of English: Advantages and Disadvantages” (scientific director: Khairulina N.F.) at the VIII scientific and practical conference Modern Problems of Science, Education and Society (Kyiv, Ukraine). A faculty representative joined the pedagogical sciences section, successfully covering the proposed topic. Her research aimed to reveal how testing can affect the language learning process, its advantages and disadvantages, and which testing methods can be most effective in different educational contexts.

Valeriia Boldova participated in the 1st international scientific and practical conference Innovative Development of Science, Technology, and Education (Vancouver, Canada), preparing theses in philology on the topic: “The Specificity of the Concept of “LOVE” in the Novel “All Your Perfects” by Coleen Hoover” (scientific director. Khairulina N.F.). The 4th-year student studied the concept of love, one of the most important fragments of the linguistic picture of the world and, in particular, of the inner world of a person based on an English-language bestseller.
