Our teacher is the author of the stamp for Ukrposhta

Oleksii Sobolevskyi became the author of a postage stamp for Ukrposhta dedicated to Ivan Miasoiedov.

On October 12, in the premises of the Poltava Art Museum (Gallery of Arts), a special redemption of Ukrposhta postage stamps was held. It was dedicated to the birthday of the famous Ukrainian artist Ivan Miasoiedov, who worked in Poltava city for some time. The author of the postage stamp was Oleksii Sobolevskyi, a teacher of the Department of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts.

Also on this day, the opening of the exhibition of the works of the graphic artist and photographer Ivan Miasoiedov took place.

The exhibition and presentation of the postage stamp was visited by teachers and students of the specialties “Fine Art, Decorative Art, Restoration” and “Graphic Design”.

Special postage stamp redemption is the redemption of postal envelopes and stamps issued on the occasion of great and memorable events with a special postmark. The difference from standard postmarks is the external design. Special redemption is of particular importance to philatelists who collect anniversary stamps and envelopes.
