Participation in celebrations

The delegation of the University, led by the Rector, took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Khorolsk Botanical Garden.

On October 12, 2023, the university delegation headed by Rector Olena Karaman visited the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference.

“Theoretical and applied aspects of the study, preservation and enrichment of phytodiversity in research institutions and educational institutions of Ukraine.” The conference was devoted to the 10th anniversary of the Khorolsk Botanical Garden from the date of its official opening.

The Rector Olena Karaman addressed the participants of the conference on behalf of the staff of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, who expressed her gratitude to the staff of the botanical garden and personally to its director Volodymyr Krasovskyi for cooperation with the Faculty of Natural Sciences and wished for further development and strengthening on the way to Victory.

The delegation from the university included representatives of the Faculty of Natural Sciences – the head of the Department of Biology and Agronomy Halyna Yevtushenko and the head of the museum Serhii Lytvynenko. During the meeting with fellow scientists, a number of important issues regarding further cooperation and planning of joint activities at locations in the Poltava region were discussed. Within the program of the conference, the participants were offered a tour of the botanical garden.
