Order of Merit, first degree

By decree of the President of Ukraine, Yurii Oleksiiovych Makhortov was awarded the Order of Merit, first degree.

He was awarded according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 590/2023 on State Awards of Ukraine on the occasion of the Education Workers Day dated September 27, 2023.

For a significant personal contribution to the development of national education, the training of qualified specialists, courage and self-sacrifice, demonstrated in the protection of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, many years of fruitful pedagogical activity and high professionalism, it was decided to award the Order of Merit of the 1st degree to Makhortov Yurii Oleksiiovych – Professor of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business of the state institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”.
