Open lecture on academic integrity

The lecture “Fundamentals of Academic Integrity in the Modern Educational Environment” was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts.

On September 26, a lecture in a mixed format was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts on the topic: “Basics of Academic Integrity in the Modern Educational Environment” for bachelor’s and master’s students. 

During the lecture, Doctor of Philosophy, Acting Head of the Department of Cultural Studies and Cinema and TV Arts Maksym Saibekov emphasized the need to observe high professional standards in the educational and scientific spheres of the university’s activities, support ethical standards of communication between scientific and pedagogical workers and students, and prevent violations of academic integrity.

Mykola Semenov, the head of the Center for Information Technologies, spoke in detail about the features of the technical check for plagiarism using the UNICHECK program of the texts of course and qualification papers.

The acting head of the Educational Activity Quality Management Department Margarita Kravchenko, head of the Postgraduate Department Olha Kutsevska, and the acting director of the ER ICA Iryna Prodan also joined the discussion. 

The lecture was held with the support and participation of representatives of all levels of the internal education quality assurance system of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
