The Faculty of Foreign Languages celebrates the Day of European Languages

The Department of Romano-Germanic Philology of the Faculty of Foreign Languages celebrates the Day of European Languages.
On September 26, the whole of Europe celebrates the Day of European Languages, which was proclaimed by the Council of Europe during the European Year of Languages on December 6, 2001, with the aim of increasing multilingualism and intercultural understanding, encouraging language learning in and out of school throughout life.
In many countries, seminars, conferences, lectures, open lessons, concerts, and exhibitions are held.
The Department of Romano-Germanic Philology of the Faculty of Foreign Languages participated in the celebration of the Day of European Languages. The students prepared incredible projects in which they presented the facts and history of the Day, talked about the peculiarities of the languages they study, and together with the teachers participated in the interactive, answering questions of quizzes and interesting games, where they learned interesting facts about European languages and cultures.
Acting Head of the Department of Romano-Germanic Philology – Ph.D. Khairulina Nailia Farytivna organized a faculty-wide event, which was attended by faculty dean Dmytrenko Viktoriia Ihorivna, students of the 1st year, scientific and pedagogical staff of the faculty, and 11th-grade students from Khmelnytskyi and Poltava. Bright presentations, English-language videos, and greetings in French, German, and Spanish – became the decoration of the Faculty of Foreign Languages holiday!
