Master’s student of the FUPJ got a scholarship from the President of Ukraine

The Department of Ukrainian Language congratulates Dmytro Pomazan on the appointment of the academic scholarship of the President of Ukraine.

According to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated August 9, 2023 No. 959, the master’s student of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Journalism, Dmytro Pomazan, was awarded an academic scholarship of the President of Ukraine for the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year.

Dmytro Pomazan is master’s student, the educational program “Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and Literature (English)”, specialty 014.01 “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature”. He is an active participant in scientific events of various levels and competitions of scientific and creative works.

In February 2023, Dmyto won 1st place in the first round (university) of the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers on the Ukrainian language and its teaching methods (Poltava) with the scientific work “Neologisms in modern song texts about war” (research supervisor – Doctor of Philology Ph.D., Assoc., Head of the Department of Ukrainian Language Oksana Kleschova).

In 2023, Dmytro Pomazan was awarded the honorary title of “Best Student” of LTSNU for his high academic performance and achievements in scientific work.

During the second semester of the 2022–2023 academic year, he took part in 7 scientific and practical conferences (among them 6 all-Ukrainian and 1 international level) and 1 international competition of student creativity.

The abstracts of the reports are published in the collections of conference materials. During this period, 7 his scientific papers were published. In total, he has 13 publications. 

We wish our master’s student Dmytro Pomazan and his research supervisor Oksana Kleschova new achievements and victories!
