Happy International Day of Peace!

The International Day of Peace was established by the resolution of the UN General Assembly on November 30, 1982 and is celebrated annually on September 21.

The International Day of Peace is a symbol of hope and compassion for millions of people around the world who seek an end to armed conflict and a world without war. This feeling is especially relevant now for Ukrainians. This day is not only a symbolic date, but also an important reminder to the world that a cruel and bloody war is going on in our country,

Our land has been suffering from the war started by Russia for the tenth year. We have experienced so many trials and losses that we can truly say we understand the value of peace.

The purpose of this holiday is to draw attention to the need to end wars and conflicts, as well as to emphasize the importance of peace negotiations, diplomacy and tolerance.

Today, this holiday is particularly significant for our country. Every Ukrainian dreams of an end to hostilities as soon as possible, of victory, of the return of relatives, loved ones, and friends, of a peaceful sky above the head, of a bright future for children, of the healing of unbearable wounds in human hearts, and protection from aggressors.

The greatest happiness in the world is peace, when people live in harmony and peace, the earth does not tremble from terrible explosions, tears of grief and loss are not shed.

Therefore, on Peace Day, we wish everyone peace, prosperity and a peaceful sky above our heads. Peace to you in everything – peace in families, peace in hearts and peace to our native Ukraine!

May there be peace in Ukraine!
