International Day of Peace at the ER IEB

September 21 – the world celebrates the International Day of Peace.

For many people in today’s world, peace is nothing more than a fairy tale dream. This holiday has a special significance for Ukraine. Throughout history, the Ukrainian state fought for its peaceful existence. And in 2023, Ukraine is fighting against Russian aggression at a huge cost, so that our descendants will never know war.

Teachers and students of the Educational and Research Institute of Economy and Business gathered on this day together online in order to celebrate the International Day of Peace. Valentyn Tovkailo and Viktoriia Borysenko, the first-year students prepared information about the history and symbols of Peace Day. Sofia Savisko, a 2nd year student, read a poem about peace. The teachers of the Institute emphasize the exceptional importance of peace as one of the highest values of civilization.

We believe that peace will surely come in our country and we will live under a peaceful sky!
