All-Ukrainian Accordion Day

Institute of Culture and Arts has celebrated the All-Ukrainian Accordion Day in Poltava.

The All-Ukrainian Accordion Day is celebrated the last week of March with public concerts almost in all major cities of our country. Holiday concert was conducted in the concert hall of Poltava Economy and Business University on March 24.

Students of the Institute of Culture and Arts of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University of class of professor Andrii Yakovych Stashevskyi – Valerii Semenenko, Yurii Kharchenko and Vladislav Bielohlazov took part in the event. Also duet of pupils from Poltava Raisa Kirichenko Children’s Art School – Mykola Sniahivskyi and Artem Ishchenko who have obtained Grand Prix of the All-Ukrainian Festival Contest “Gifted Youth 2016” recently.

Concert program included the numbers of different styles, genres and composer schools, classical music – I.S. Bakh, K. Pitch, P. Chaikovskyi and F. Lyst, original compositions of modern accordionists – V. Zubytskyi, V. Semenov, K. Olchak, V. Vlasov and folk melodies.

According to the Institute of Culture and Arts
