Olympic week

As part of the Olympic week, a joint event was held with the participation of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports of LTSNU. 

On September 12, 2023, Lyceum No. 8 in the city of Rubizhne, Luhansk Region, witnessed an extremely interesting event, which took place thanks to the joint efforts of the Luhansk Regional Branch of the Committee for Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Luhansk Regional Branch of the NOC of Ukraine, and the Educational and Research Institute for Physical Education and Sports of LTSNU. 

The all-Ukrainian educational and cognitive interactive project of the NOC of Ukraine “Olympic Lab” was dedicated to the topic “Basics of Business and Career”, which was held on the occasion of the Day of Physical Culture and Sports as part of the Olympic Week.

The main goal of this event was to promote the understanding of business and career principles among young people. This became possible thanks to the invited speakers who shared their knowledge and experience.

Oleksandr Dubovoi, Director of the Educational and Research Institute for Physical Education and Sports of LTSNU, spoke about the importance of developing physical skills and a healthy lifestyle in solving life’s problems. His speech was aimed at inspiring young people to lead an active lifestyle and develop physical qualities.

The participants of the event had the opportunity not only to listen to interesting lectures, but also to actively participate in discussions, answering questions, which makes learning more effective and memorable.

The modern world is changing rapidly and requires young people, in addition to professional skills and abilities, to possess certain personal qualities: responsibility, sociability, focus on results, the ability to work in a team, the ability to make decisions, etc. This is necessary for the high-quality performance of professional tasks, and leadership qualities are extremely important for achieving professional success as an indicator of the highest professional skill.

The direct recognition of the importance of sports came as a result of the huge work carried out over the past 25 years to organize and mobilize the opportunities of sports to achieve the noble goals of peace and development, therefore, such activities are an example of successful cooperation between educational and sports organizations that have the potential to influence future opportunities and career paths of students. This initiative is an important step in preparing young people for future challenges and opportunities in today’s world.
