Entrance exam to the postgraduate school

On September 8, the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Journalism held a professional entrance exam to the postgraduate school for candidates for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the specialty 035 Philology.

A feature of this year’s admission campaign was interest in scientific research on Ukrainian literature. This year, compared to previous years, nine applications were submitted. The chairman of the examination commission, Artem Halych, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Journalism, gave an opening speech. He emphasized the importance of science, especially in wartime. Members of the commission were Viktoria Dmytrenko, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Olga Kryzhanovska, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literature.

The test was conducted in oral form according to the approved program of entrance exams for obtaining the educational and scientific level of “Doctor of Philosophy”. Future postgraduate students demonstrated a high level of theoretical and practical training, as well as readiness to master new heights in science.
