Student self-government held a festive interview with the administration and mentors of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. 

Dedication to students is an unforgettable holiday for everyone who enters the university. And although in the conditions of war, we all do not like celebrations and traditional lavish celebrations, nevertheless Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University held an incredibly warm meeting of the first-year students.

Although everyone understood that the holiday could be interrupted at any moment by an air raid, fortunately and thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it happened calmly and the first-year students began their journey to new knowledge. 

On this solemn day, representatives of the Student Self-Government in cooperation with the Marketing Department held a small festive interview in the walls of the native university with the administration and their respected mentors.

The questions were versatile, on social topics, educational, simply out of curiosity about certain views or events, to which everyone actively and gladly answered in a free manner.

The first to give an interview was the Rector of LTSNU, Olena KARAMAN. Having answered the questions and since the correspondent was a freshman, Olena Leonidivna addressed all the students of the university:

“You should study with triple effort, your results should be brilliant. You will build the Ukraine that my generation dreams of, and you will live in it. Any business requires certain efforts, certain heroism. You are here today, you are in Ukraine, you did not choose a foreign higher education institution, you are now with us in the walls of the most powerful leading university. This is your patriotic act. Thank you.”

Such relaxed interaction of management and teachers with students is decisive in the educational process, since it depends on the psychological atmosphere, mutual connection, relationships, close cooperation between the teacher and the student, during which all conditions are created for the personal and creative development of the student, which further contributes improvement of his initiative, sociability and competence as a future specialist or specialist, the activity and responsibility of student youth increases, the skills of an organizer and manager are mastered, etc.

We wish that in the life of every teacher there was an opportunity to boast of positive changes in the lives of their students, and every student had something to say THANK YOU to their teachers!

We wish victory to our state so that students study in an independent and free Ukraine and build the country we dream of!
