Dedication to students

Dedication to students is the most anticipated event for every freshman, because after that they officially become students.

This event helps each student to join the team, get to know the mentors and solemnly take the oath of being a student of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

Another academic year has begun under the conditions of a full-scale Russian invasion, so we are all forced to adapt to these realities.

On September 8, 2023, a solemn event was held on the occasion of consecrating first-year students into students of LTSNU.

The festivities began with a video clip about the university and the presentation of the Head of the Academic Council, Vitalii Kurylo, Rector Olena Karaman, vice-rectors, directors and deans of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

From the first days of the war, our students and teachers stood up for the defense of Ukraine. Despite heavy losses, they give a worthy rebuff to the treacherous Kremlin enemy. All present honored the memory of our defenders with a moment of silence.

About three thousand students, teachers, employees and graduates of our university defend Ukraine in the hottest spots. Thanks to them, we have the opportunity to meet today, so the National Anthem of Ukraine was played in their honor.

The head of the Academic Council of the university, the first vice-rector, academician of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Professor Vitalii Kurylo and Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Olena Karaman, gave the welcome speech.
