On September 7, an online webinar was held on the topic: “Current Issues of the Training Course “International Protection of Human Rights” and Innovative Approaches to its Teaching.”

On September 7, 2023, they attended an online webinar on the topic: “Current issues of the course “International Protection of Human Rights” and innovative approaches to its teaching”, speaker: Myroslava Antonovych, head of the Genocide and Human Rights Research Center, Associate Professor of the Department of International and European Law , National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy , Kyiv.
After the beginning of the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine in 2014, and especially its full-scale offensive from February 2022, the thematic content of the training course “International Protection of Human Rights” changed. Emphasis in the teaching of this course has shifted to the distinction between human rights violations and crimes against humanity and genocide. The main attention was paid to the issue of responsibility for gross violations of human rights. The author shared her experience of teaching this course at the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” and the methodology she used.
