Meetings with students were held at the FNS

On September 4, the Faculty of Natural Sciences held traditional organizational meetings of the dean’s office and departments with the students.

The meetings were organized by the dean’s office to discuss the specifics of training in the first semester of the 2023-24 academic year, taking into account the specifics of training by courses and specialties. Employees of the dean’s office, departments and the team of student self-government of the faculty were presented to the students of the faculty.

The first-year students were informed about the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process at the university, faculty, and individual specialties. The requirements for the educational process in accordance with the accumulative system of education, the procedure for accrual of academic and social scholarships were clarified. Information was provided on posting materials on the Educational Portal, using Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc. platforms.

The second- and third-year students were additionally informed about the peculiarities of educational and industrial practices, the possibility of performing scientific work, and student exchange programs.

The issue of going to the final certification, preparation for the final certification and peculiarities of preparation of bachelor theses were discussed with the fourth-year students.

At the end of the meeting, the heads of the departments presented the guarantors of educational programs, tutors for each specialty and advisors of academic groups of the faculty.
