New academic year at the FNS

On September 1, the Faculty of Natural Sciences held an online meeting of the students and teaching staff on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year.

For a year, the Faculty of Natural Sciences has been carrying out educational activities in the Poltava Region in the city of Myrhorod. During this time, two student intake have been made, about 400 students have already joined the faculty team. During September – October, the second and third waves of admission for the contract form of bachelor’s and master’s studies in the specialties of the faculty will continue.

Taking into account the recommendations of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, all celebrations were held online. The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty Nataliia MATSAI, who thanked all Defenders of Ukraine, thanks to whose courage and resilience during the full-scale war with Russia, we can work and study. With a minute of silence, naturalists honored those who defended the independence of Ukraine at the cost of their lives, the dead civilians.

Next, the participants of the meeting were offered a presentation of the University, faculty and departments, the structure and members of the dean’s office, departments were presented. The Deputy Dean for Academic Work, Olha GUBSKA, introduced the peculiarities of the educational process, introduced the heads of departments. The head of student self-government of the faculty – student dean Yaroslav BONDARENKO addressed the students.
