On September 4, 2023, at 4:00 p.m., a webinar of Ukrainian scholars-graduates of the Fulbright Program will be held for representatives of displaced higher education institutions. We invite scientific and pedagogical workers of the university to participate in it.
Topic: “Humanitarians in Wartime: What Can They Do?”
Abstract: Consequences of the war for Ukrainian higher education in general and humanitarian studies in particular. An overview of the projects launched by the Ukrainian Catholic University during the last year as an attempt to respond to the challenges of war: the interdisciplinary master’s program “The Future of Heritage: History, Culture and Literature”, a double degree with the University of Nottingham (Great Britain), research projects with the University of Nottingham, a course “Drama, poetry and performative practices during the war”, developed by the author together with colleagues from the University of Notre Dame (USA).
