The final seminar on the implementation of the grant G-202301-69859, in which representatives of LTSNU took part, has finished.
Representatives from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the final seminar on the integration of cyber security courses into the curriculum of Ukrainian universities, which was held at the Lutsk National Technical University, Lutsk city.
August 16, 2023 representatives of the Educational and Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies Hennadii Mohylnyi, director of the Institute, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor; Svitlana Pereiaslavska, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor in face-to-face mode and Mykola Semenov, head of the Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor; Volodymyr Matievskyi, assistant, participated in the final seminar on the integration of cyber security courses into the curriculum of Ukrainian universities, which took place at the Lutsk National Technical University.
The seminar was also attended by leading experts in cyber security from Uzhhorod National University, Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, Donbas State Pedagogical University and Lesia Ukrainka Volyn National University.
During the meeting, scientists presented their own cyber security courses, which they propose to integrate into the curricula of Ukrainian higher education institutions. The discipline includes two modules and aims to study the systematization of information regarding the development, implementation and operation of information protection systems at the objects of information activity, the formation of skills in the analysis of information security systems in order to implement the best practices of information protection, as well as the formation of future specialists’ ability to act on the basis of the legislative and regulatory framework of Ukraine and the requirements of relevant standards, including international ones.
Scientists of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University presented their training course “Cybersecurity in the aspect of informatization and digitalization of society”.
The meeting turned into a lively and fruitful discussion. Scientists discussed current topics in the training of specialists in the field of information technologies, modern challenges and the relevance of educational programs, and also shared their own experience in scientific and pedagogical activities.
The experience will be relevant, valuable and necessary, and the new educational programs will help not only in the development of the direction of cyber security, but will also contribute to increasing the defense capability of our state.
