The Students of LNU are the Best!

LNU students are the prize-winners of Ukrainian Gymnastics Championship.

Ukrainian Gymnastics Championship took place in Kirovohrad on March 14 – 18. Team of Luhansk region took the first place leaving behind teams from Kyiv, Kherson and other regions.

Yevhen Yudenkov and Mykyta Lebedev, the first-year students of “Physical Education” from the Institute of Physical Education and Sports are the champions of Ukraine in the team event. They played as a part of men’s team.

Yevhen Yudenkov became a champion of Ukraine in the individual event in men’s multiathlon, took the first place in pommel horse and rings and got the bronze in free exercises.

Eduard Yermakov, the first-year students of “Physical Education” from the Institute of Physical Education and Sports took the second place in multiathlon, got the silver of Junior Championship of Ukraine, in free exercises and in pommel horse. Also he won the gold in ring exercises.

Totally, our sportsmen obtained 6 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals.
