Automated management system at the University

Currently, the University is working on the modernization of the automated management system.

The functioning of the university is impossible without well-established management activities. The automated management system is aimed at managing university activity processes, increasing the efficiency of the functioning of divisions and departments, improving the working conditions of employees and analytical support of current activities and the performance of statutory tasks with the help of several interconnected modules.

Currently, a newer, modern and technological version is being developed at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. The head of the Information Technology Center, Mykola AnatoliIovych Semenov, coordinates the modernization of the AMS, who said that a thorough study of the structure of the entire system, the processes of interaction of subsystems, the organization of access to databases, methodological support, the justification of the choice of software and technical platform, etc. is already underway.

Therefore, AMS is a management system that is focused on the wide and complex use of technical means and the use of various system methods for solving information tasks. But let’s not forget that part of the functions of this managed system object is performed by a person.
