“Korolenkova Dacha”

Students and teachers of the Department of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts visited the landscape reserve “Korolenkova Dacha”.

Students and teachers of the Department of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts of the ER ICA, despite vacations, continue to take an active part in the artistic life of Poltava region.

On July 29, at the invitation of the organizers of the meeting, they came to the landscape reserve of national importance “Korolenkova Dacha” – the estate of the famous writer V.G. Korolenko on the occasion of commemorating his 165th birthday in the village of Pokrovsky Poltava.

Students Maria Kyrychenko, Daryna Varava and a graduate Kateryna Khizhnyak organized an exhibition of their creative works, and the head of the Department Nataliia Dihtiar held a master class on teaching glass painting for everyone.

The teacher of the Department, Oleksii Sobolevskyi, introduced the visitors to the author’s works, which are in the museum’s permanent exhibition. Artur Aroian, Associate Professor of the Department, told the students about artistic events related to this place.
