On July 28, we mark the UKRAINIAN STATEHOOD DAY!

The Day of Ukrainian Statehood is a day that reminds us that we are free, united and independent. As our entire centuries-long history, past and present, has proven, no one, no evil empire has yet succeeded in depriving Ukrainians of their sense of dignity, their unrestrained desire for freedom, independence and their own statehood.

Ukrainian Statehood was, is and will be! We are constantly learning and each time we become stronger in our convictions, each time we are more resolute in defending the right to our own State of Ukraine.

Let the Day of Ukrainian Statehood unite Ukrainians all over the world so that their identity contributes to the prosperity of Ukraine and that every Ukrainian lives, studies, works in their country, develops on their land.

On the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, we bow our heads to all the Defenders of Ukraine, to all the fighters for Ukraine for generations, who sacrificed the most precious things – their lives and freedom, so that we would be free.

Only by joint efforts for the benefit of Ukraine will we be able to build a strong European state.
