Bronze award of Oleksandr Dubovoi, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

Oleksandr Dubovoi, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, as part of the national team of Ukraine, continues his series of winning performances on the international stage.

So, on July 21-22 in Batumi (Georgia) at the European Cup in heavy lifting, strongman from Kreminna, master of sports of Ukraine of international class Oleksandr Dubovoi won the bronze award in heavy lifting in the 40+ category.

Strongman’s sport is recognized in Ukraine at the official level. And despite difficult times and obstacles, Ukrainian strongmen prove that the development of this sport in our country continues, competitions are held, and the government, responsible business and caring people do everything possible to support the sport.

The pull is a classic exercise of the strongman competitions, a multi-functional and spectacular sport, which includes about 50 exercises. Official competitions are held both in individual exercises, such as this European Cup, and in the classic format, which includes the sum of five exercises. Here each task is set in such a way that the participants demonstrate their willingness to argue with the force of gravity by lifting a colossal weight. The winner is determined by the total number of points scored in all exercises.

And our heroes are waiting for the most important tournament of the year – the World Team Championship, which will be held in October this year in Paris, where strongmen will compete for the title of “The Strongest Nation in the World”.

We wish our strongmen successful starts and fair sports competition!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OLEKSANDR VOLODYMYROVYCH ON SUCCESS!!!
